Travels & Wedding

July has been a quite month. Wayne was TDY to Solomon's Island. He visited with us for two days at the end of his trip. We had a good time. We visited the NSA Crypto Museum and went to the Inner Harbor and rode the water taxi to Fells Point, then walked back to the Inner Harbor.

On Saturday July 22, we had to pleasure of attending Gwen & Ron's wedding. Had a great time.

On the 23rd we drove the motorhome to Eagles Nest Campground near Ocean City. We had a good relaxing time even though we were dealing with a dead battery. I had to manually close the slideouts to go purchase a battery. That was a learning experience. Eagles Nest is located on Sinepuxent Bay across from Assateague Island. The bay was very shallow and I could walk out about 100yds. A power boat ran aground on a sandbar and had to be towed.

After leaving Eagles Nest we return home then drove to Lake Gaston North Carolina with Betty, Dallas, Donna, and Dan. We had a great time at Pearson's Lake House and riding in their boat. Dallas towed us on a large raft. We had some rain but had a great time.

Overdue updates

It has been awhile since this site was updated. Jimmy, Sue, Nancy and I were in Holland, Michigan May 8-11 for the Tulip Festival. We enjoyed the parade, touring the town, good food, and company.
On Memorial Day weekend we had our annual Golf tournament and party at George & Jan's. This year was bittersweet. We said "so long" to Lance and Karen. They moved to Hawaii June 11th.
June and July have been quite months. We celebrated Jill and Matt's 1st anniversary June 10th. Jill & Matt, Matt's parents (Roger & Dot), and Adam & Nicole came here for dinner. We had a great time.
