HAPPY THANKSGIVING

Hope everyone has had a great Thanksgiving. Ours was great.
November has been a busy month. We went back to the Mississippi Gulfcoast for another Build. Our church sent people there for two weeks to do interior work on a new house in Gulfport. I was there for two weeks (Nov. 4-17) and Nancy was there for the last week (Nov. 11-17). In addition to the interior work we built an "L" shaped deck on the house. The exterior of the house was completed with the exception of the deck/porch. The interior walls, electrical, plumbing, and HAVC were installed. Some of the installation and drywalling had been installed. When we left all rooms except one had been Spackled sanded and painted. Linoleum tile flooring had been installed kitchen and bathroom cabinets and fixtures had been installed. Interior doors and molding around doors and windows had been installed. Our client has been living in a FEMA trailer for two years. She will be in her new house Christmas.

November has been a great month.

Text and Photos Updated

Cruise to Eastern Caribbean, October 19-28. Our cruise was nine days. From Baltimore we went to San Juan, St Thomas, Dominican Republican, Haiti and back to Baltimore. We joined Jill & Matt and 17 of their friends. We had a great time. In San Juan we took a bus tour of the city visiting a Fort and the Bacardi Rum plant. In St Thomas we chartered a 45' sailboat for the day. We sailed around St Thomas where we were able to snorkel using power snorkels (a battery powered motor which pulled us). In the DR we took a 4X4 Truck trip into the mountains where we visited a settlement near a water fall and another settlement on a beach. Our last stop was in Haiti where we kayaked around the island. Afterwards we joined the others for some rum, beer. and beach time.

Kentucky, October 14 -17. We drove the motorhome to Grayson Kentucky where we rented a car. We visited the University of Kentucky Arboretum. Afterwards we had some great Barbecue, visited two winery's and drove through some horse farms owned by "Taylor Made" Golf. We walked through three State Parks, one which had a
cave tour. Their caves are not as colorful as the Maryland-Virginia caverns.

September 28 Wendy and Greg were married in Leesburg Virginia in an outdoor wedding overlooking a Golf course. The next day we went to a winery with Matt and Jill. We took White's Ferry back to Maryland.

During September Nancy went to Marco Island with some friend for shopping and beach time. I walked in a Habitat for Humanity 5K walk.
